Feared and hunted, Zombies have been brutally ostracized from Punk society since records began. Nobody knew how they came to be that way, few even asked the question.
Hunted, demonised, and mistreated, in desperation the zombies started to experiment with potential cures in a reckless attempt to finally take their place in Punk society and live their lives without fear.
Countless failures led to one attempt yielding a solution. A synthetic drug, nicknamed cc0, which reversed the Zombie condition. They were finally regular punks. Superior even. Stronger. Smarter. Cooler. Even more desirable.
The other Punks began to covet the Zombies ‘otherness’ and before long many were hooked on the cc0 serum and began to thirst for it. Designed for the Zombie bloodstream, the effect was devastating.
They did indeed begin to change, but not as they expected. Those who made it found themselves forever altered. Some grew horns, others developed cyclops like eyes.
They were indeed strong, smart, cool and desirable – but they were no longer regular Punks. Nor were they Zombies. They were simply… undead.
Today they wander the Ethereum blockchain, devoid of community, a roadmap or purpose. Just the insatiable thirst for cc0 driving them forward.
Unhyped. Undead. Unpunks.
