Transhumans

Transhumans is a collection of illustrations that dive into a world where humans break free from their biological boundaries. 

These pieces are deeply personal, echoing my teenage years in Mexico, where I'd make punk band posters and my first designs with a raw and unrefined style. Inspired by 80s sci-fi, kawaii art, and minimalist Japanese designs, it captures the essence of transhumanism and the idea of transcending our limitations.

I'm Pablo, the artist behind these doodles. My work is often brazen, quick, and imperfect, much like the punk rock spirit that first ignited my passion for art and design.

Transhumans is both a nod to my past and a vision of a future where we embrace our imperfections and see them as our unique beauty.

In the midst of a world where perception is malleable, a figure squats, their presence commanding attention. The metallic mohawk atop their head isn't merely a fashion choice but potentially a vessel for concealed enhancements. A distinct neurological implant on their temple suggests a mind augmented, capable of perceiving realities beyond the ordinary.

With their organic arm, they deftly manipulate an ethereal UI, invisible to the uninitiated, but perhaps revealing a universe of information and experiences to them. Their robotic arm, juxtaposed on an unexpected side, carries a story of its own—temporary, borrowed, or maybe even stolen.

This enigmatic individual, dressed in a simple tank top, also sports a streamlined backpack respiration system, a testament to the art of merging the essential with the aesthetic in an age of endless possibilities.

User Interface

Amid the desolation of a wasteland, long forsaken by humanity and now teeming with mutants and unseen dangers, a figure stands poised for entry. Captured in a side portrait, their gender-neutral form is shielded by a glass hazard helmet. Their eyes, looking ahead, reveal a mix of trepidation and determination. But beneath it all, there's a hint of a quest, not for treasure, but perhaps for a "heart of glass" - someone or something fragile yet invaluable. In this vast void, their mission is as enigmatic as the land itself.

Heart of Glass

In a world layered with history and technology, a figure is caught in a dynamic leap, hovering momentarily in the void. Their transformation from human to machine is evident in their gleaming, fully robotized head, a marvel of precision engineering. Their mechanical arms, robust and intricate, hint at capabilities far surpassing human norms. Yet, as they move, their stylish baggy coat billows, adding a touch of elegance and humanity to their mechanized form. 

On their face display, a happy face flickers, a vestige from an older operating system. This relic recalls to a time when beings known as Cyborgos dominated a luxurious capitalist autonomous floating island. An era of opulence and innovation, tragically cut short when the island met its demise.

Now, in this figure, the past and present converge, telling tales of lost civilizations and the ever-evolving nature of existence.
