Escape from Lobstar Mart

Globally renowned artist Philip Colbert, also known as THE LOBSTER, is excited to announce Lobstar Studios, a new animation department developed within his existing studio.

I'm very excited to be collaborating with our partners Bueno on the launch of Lobstar Studios. Bueno were instrumental in the launching of the Lobstars collection, and am very excited that these 3 new animated open edition works ‘Escape from LOBSTAR MART’ will drop on their amazing new platform.

“For me, the Lobstars was always about greatly developing my artistic world and going deeper into the possibilities of storytelling and art. I believe good storytelling is the essence of art, and I am really excited to dive much deeper into the existing narrative. Lobstaer Studios continues the ongoing collaboration with The Lobstars community, in realising our collective Lobstar dreams.”

The project will push the boundaries of community engagement and content making, allowing holders to actively become producers on the episodes, from developing the stories alongside Philip to casting their Lobstars for central roles. Active Lobstar studios holders will also achieve producer credits. 

“We will create regular episodes. The animated segments will have an educational angle, focusing on our metaphysical journey across art history. The series will initially be developed for social media, with the longer term aim of streaming platforms.”

3 animated open edition NFT’s. Where the new story begins, in a tense escape scene from the Lobstar Mart. Featuring 3 iconic Lobstar traits, the Octopus, Spam, and Mushroom. The adventure begins. 

Holders of The Lobstars collection will be granted entry to an exclusive premiere of the upcoming episodes of The Lobstars animated series. The screening is scheduled to take place at our recently unveiled section of the Lobsteropolis Metaverse.

Holding 1 or more of The Lobstar Studios collection will grant access to the production team community. This will include the exclusive privilege of being the first to read the script, as well as the opportunity to collaborate with Philip on developing innovative ideas. Furthermore, these holders will receive credit in the end notes of each episode.

The holders of all three Lobstar Studios NFTs along with the original Lobstars collection, will have the ability to cast their chosen Lobstar character for the primary roles in the stories and directly participate in the animation series.
